PBSP Therapy (Pesso-Boyden System Psychomotor Therapy) in Pastoral Care

Workshop description and topic
The subject is “Encounter and Presence in Conversations with Students”At the workshop, there will be an introduction to what PBSP therapy is and which elements from the therapy are applicable in pastoral care conversations, even if one is not trained as a PBSP therapist. Exercises and theory will be included in the workshop, with the goal of leaving with an understanding of why PBSP therapy is a gentle and useful therapy in pastoral care.

Presenter’s Biography, highlighting your professional background
My name is Kirstine Hansen, and I am a Student Chaplain at VIA University in Aarhus. I hold a degree in Theology (2013) and have written a thesis on pastoral care and PBSP therapy. I am certified in PBSP therapy with the international certificate for both individual and group therapy and have been working with PBSP since 2012 when I met the founder, Albert Pesso.
