Workshop Title:
Resonance – religion as a journey of longing for the eternal within the perishable.
Workshop Description and Topic:
A workshop that, in theory and practice, focuses on ways to connect with the world and the divine by exploring and emphasizing the importance of the body for religious grounding.
Young people are searching for ways to connect to the world to find meaning, but religion is often perceived as a system that imposes self-limitation and self-restraint, both in terms of behavior and critical thought.
However, religions can be fundamentally a way to find meaning and connect to life and the divine. Thus, religion provides the framework for addressing the most fundamental existential human needs.
